First of all: I use a Macbook / OSX 10.4.7.
Is there any way to have QT or VLC (or whatever media player) convert the aac5.1 sound (contained in a video file) to ac3 (on the fly while watching) and then route the ac3 stream through spdif out, so i can enjoy the Dolby Digital (AC3) sound on my stereo?
Cheers, Rob.
