    i need help removing audio from avi clips taken from my digital camera. they show up as being 8bit pcm audio but there is no audio function on the camera so i want to totally remove it off the avi file without degrading the video. the reason is that when i play these avi clips a huge snap and crackle happens at the start and end and its not helping my motv slideshows.

    Virtualdub.

    Open video, set to "Direct Stream Copy".
    Set audio to "No Audio"
    Save the AVI.
