    does anyone know of a freeware dvd authoring program that is better than tmpgenc dvdauthor? i have dvdauthor currently but may want to switch. no commandline program.

  2. Even though I use Tmpgenc DVDauthor for most of my DVDs, dvdauthor is a much more versatile application. Have you tried using the Graphical User Interfaces of DVDAuthorGUI or GUI for dvdauthor?

    Is it as userfriendly as tmpgenc dvd author and what are the advantages as such?
    does it i.e. allow 16:9 menues,
    does it do all that dvd author can do
    does it support .ac3?
    is the burn program as good as the one from dvd author?

    Try it out and see - after all, you're the best person to judge.
