    Hello.

I tape Pro Wrestling events on two MiniDV cameras.

I have captured the events to .AVI(almost 2gbs each wrestling match!) and have begun multi-cam'ing and such on Premiere 6.5

I want to burn these to DVD when i am done with them.

How would i do so? And how much would the file size be? The event i am doing right now is about 3hours long and i know it's going to have to be two discs. They only save to .AVI so am i going to have to convert the .AVI to DVD format again later? I have a 160GB hard drive w/ only 25GB space empty (and that's with the other events captured)

    Thank you so much.

Premiere 6.5 doesnt have the export to dvd option??

if not, u have to use an encoder to get an mpeg2 format out of the avi. (adobe encoder should be with ur premiere application). if not, check this link.

Debugmode frameserver will allow you to frameserve from the Premiere timeline to a standalone encoder. This means you don't have to export to DV avi, simply export a small signpost file from which to encode.

    DV format
    2hr 27GB
    3hr 40.5GB

    MPeg2
Depends how much your eyes can take.

    Per https://www.videohelp.com/calc
    2hr 4853Kbps wth 224Kbps audio
    3hr 3159Kbps wth 224Kbps audio
    Gettting down low for 720x480

for 352x480 divide bitrate by 2 and then add back all you can
