I have a wedding DV which I have in the computer as an AVI. Normally I would use The Film Machine to put this onto a DVD.
I also have photos of two weddings in the computer as jpegs. I have tried putting these onto a DVD using VSO's PhotoDVD with some success (this produces vob, bup, ifo files as a slide show with optional sound track).
What I would like to do is end up with a DVD that will play on a stand-alone player that has the video and the two separate sets of photos complete with a simple menu.

Can anyone suggest how to achieve this, and are there any tutorials?
    Thanks

  2. VideoStudio 9 or 10 Plus by Ulead does this. Trial versions are available also.

Do you know if the trialware has any limitations? i.e. does it leave a watermark during the trial period, or is it unlimited for the trial period?
This project is pretty much a one-off, although it's always nice to have the ability to do a similar project in the future (e.g. if there's another wedding in the family )
    Regards

I downloaded VideoStudio 10 over the weekend. Virtually no assistance or help file by Ulead, but their forum is absolutely wonderful - a lot of dedicated VS users.
As a result, I was able to make wonderful wedding DVD's with photo slide shows and video, all neatly wrapped together with a menu and can be played on stand alone DVD players.

Bjs, Thanks for all the links. I'll check them all out tonight.
    Thanks.

    If in doubt, Google it.
