  1. I'm converting from Analog to Digital using a ADS DVDExpress 2 bridge. This process results in a .mpg and it plays well in Windows Media Player but when I import this same file into Premiere 1.5 it's out of sync and choppy.

Can anyone help with this issue.

The Capture wiz software that comes with the ADS box works fine but it doesn't have the features that Premiere has.

premiere is really geared towards dv or lesser compressed video than mpeg. What is it you are wanting to do with the video? You may be able to use a tool that won't make you re-encode.

  3. I'd like to be able to edit the video (tv show) in Premiere.

When I use a camcorder with firewire everything works great.

I need to know an easy (affordable) way to get video from an analog source into Premiere.
    I have the the following

    DVD Express 2 box
    ATI 1300 Pro Vivo card.
    3.2 Ghz
    2 GB Mem
    2 320 GB Sata drives
    DVD-RW w/Lightscribe
