Issue , check frame rate's ... convert in super to mpeg2 , demux with batchdemux , go down to where XXXXXXXXXXXX is here in post and follow from that point .

    -----------------------------------------

Frameserving in vdub ... just incase

    https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=270071

They may require some resizing and boxing ... vdub filter's , resize ... just dont mess up resolution .
Treat one video at a time only .
When first one done , close video file in vdub and open next ... repeat step's .

    ============

    Warning : In those bbmpeg encoder setting's , where you see those 2 encode , and 2 multiplexer's .... disable those multiplexer's .

You need only the m2v stream (make sure you follow my bbmpeg "mpeg2" info)

That audio mp2 can be converted in besweet to ac3 .

    Treat both this way .

    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

    You now have 2 x m2v video stream's , and 2 x ac3 stream's .

    You want menu ?

You can now use dvdauthorgui and any paint program to create menu's .

    ----------------------

Or rejig to author a seperate dvd from each clip .
Dvdshrink in reauthormode to join them .

Burn to dvd ... it's auto play .

    ----------------------

    Reauthor in dvdshrink :

Load first rejig generated dvd title into dvdshrink .
Hit reathormode ... and drag video from first dvdshrink window to the new dvdshrink window .
In the previous dvdshrink window ... now open second rejig authored title , and repeat drag and drop to other dvdshrink window .

Both title's are now in dvdshrink's reauthor window ... process it to a new folder .

Burn to dvd , then delete all file's related to project ... and enjoy

My, my. Don't join at all. Just encode each AVI to DVD specs mpg, then join them during the authoring process.

Fairly simple. Once each Xvid is converted to DVD compliant video and audio, just drop each into your authoring program and they will play one after the other on the DVD. I use TMPGEnc DVD Author for this. Not much different than having more than one VOB on a DVD. This avoids some problems with sync loss when joining AVIs.

If you want an even simpler system, use ConvertXToDVD. It handles multiple Xvids fairly well. There is also a freeware version, DivxToDVD. For best quality and control, though, the individual encoders and authoring programs are the way to go.

Not sure about what divx2dvd outputs, but if it's a valid DVD structure (A VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder + VOB, IFO & BUPs in the VIDEO_TS folder), create an ISO of them with ImgTools Classic, then burn with ImgBurn

DivxtoDVD outputs a valid DVD structure (Video_TS folder, VOBs, IFOs and BUPs), so any burning software capable of burning a DVD Video structure should burn this - even Nero.

However you cannot just take a couple of these, throw them in together and get a new DVD. If you want to do this, either put them all into DivxtoDVD at the same time, you use DVD Shrink in reauthor mode to bring everything together.

You could also import them into tmpgenc DVD Author and create menus, join multi-part movies etc. at the same time.

As you have seen , other user's default to "simple" program's ... However this option give's you far less control over the final outcome and quality is at best , a guess .

My way give's user's full control ... even if it dosent seem simple ... once you have done it a couple of time's , it get's easy .

the out puts are valid dvd sturcture.

guns1inger : i did it same way, all wanted file in shrink, its been done, but no title appear to select the choice.

I had seen some dvd, they have 2 or 3 moives in it, and also title to select what you want to see.

I try with Ulead movie factor 4, it done same way, but ulead is not taking Xvid files.

Neither divx2dvd nor DVDShrink creates menus. (But the commercial ver of divx2dvd, convertxtodvd does!) If you want that, you have to use a real authoring app like TDA.
However, you can always select what title to view with your remote.
