  1. After downloading SUPER and double clicking it to install, all I get is the little box that states 'SUPER set up.exe has encountered a problem'

I have downloaded the program several times, then attempted to install, but to no avail

After viewing some of the comments in the tools section for SUPER, it seems to be a common problem for some folks, its also a double pain due to the D/L being rather slow

Does anyone know whats going wrong?

    Thanks

Try waiting for a few hours (or more) and then download it again.

  4. I have just downloaded from the AfterDawn mirror, with success

    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/super.cfm

Seems to be a different installer, and a much faster D/L

I must say, SUPER seems to be a fantastic piece of kit, and very fast ie: the encode hasnt yet finished, but after firing it up, it has thus far encoded (to mpg2) 150mb in 10mins, nice

I think I will donating to the developers, good program

Oh and, in the comments section I noticed someone mentioned soemthing about a 'watermark' being left, and that it is possible to 'turn off' the watermark? can anyone expand on this?

    Thanks

  5. LOL, does anyone know how one can tell how far the encode has progessed?

Is it possible to see an output file size before hitting encode, as well as how much of the encode has passed/remaining?

The yellow status bar isnt much help in this regard

Also, I am now getting the dancing 'elcard has expired' thing, how do I get rid of that?

I have never had it with Tmpgenc or VEGAS
