Hey all,
I've been trying to convert a couple of discs from PAL to NTSC and AC3machine distorted one of the discs (need to check the others). At one point, there's a loud crash of thunder and a plane flying by. There is a crackling (almost farting?) noise in each of the speakers. Any reason why this would be happening? Any way around it??

I've uploaded a clip for you guys to check out. Maybe you can help.

Additionally, I did try the "auto find maximum gain" feature as someone suggested but it really only scans the first 6 minutes (I believe) of the audio and then starts transcoding. Is that normal?
