Hi all
I'm having trouble with distortion on my capture card
This can be easily noticed in static images (like the standby screens of vhs/dvd players)
However, I tried a small test and compared a VHS capture, one done by the capture card, and the other by a DVD Recorder...
And this is the result
DVD Rec :

Internal Capt Card :

I also tried capturing off other sources including playstion / cable tv / dvd, and still there are these grains/noises; could it be that the RCA sockets of the capture card needs cleaning? if so, any particular solutions/sprays ?
any help much appriciated :/
thanks
