  1. Hey all,
I just tried to backup an old DVD movie i have. I used DVD Decrypter as my ripper and since it was double layered, I chose the option to Select Main Movie Files *.VOB. The decryption process went great. I then used my Ulead DVD Movie Factory to burn the dvd. I used the Copy Disc with the Burn DVD foder to Disc option. The selection and burning process went without a hitch. But when i put the DVD into my standalone player it just says Cannot Read Disc. And if I try to use my DVD player software on my computer it says "A disc with an unsupported format in drive D:. But if try opening the same .VOB files, on the Same DVD that is inserted in the DVD player on my computer, in a playlist through the same program they play through fine. Is this something that Ulead DVD is changing in the burning process and is there a better program for me to burn the descrypted DVD info with? BTW, I am using Sony DVD+R's and have played many of these in my standalone player before. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
    Thanks

Use DVDShrink in reauthor mode Mvey Only. Create and ISO and write to DVD with Decryoter. I think you ripped only the Movie VOBs and that alone will not play on a stand alone. You need the rest of the files to have a preper DVD file structure. You can however play a VOB by itself but only on the PC
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
