I used PowerDirector 8 to make a wedding video out of some videos I took using my Sony Handycam and now I can't get the burned DVD to play on my 1yr old Insignia DVD player. Now I am using Maxell DVD-R discs and my DVD player is compatible with that and many other discs. My HP computer is not even a yr old. I believe I have determined that all equipment is compatible. I have always used Maxell products and never had issues in the past. This is however my first time using PowerDirector. I used to use Roxio MyDvD with still pics.
When I insert the DVD into the DVD player I get the audio tracks to come through but not the video.

I made a folder of the video and it ended up making separate files for each section of the video. Those are in VLC. Now when I play the DVD in my PC it opens with Windows Media Center and works wonderfully.
