How do I need to connect the input and output to passthrough on a Panasonic DMR-ES10? Do I need to select something in a menue? I can't seem to get an output signal when I connect a signal on the front input.

I don't know the answer for your unit, but it could be as simple as
looking on your remote for a INPUT Select or something similar.

That *should* change your input source.. ie, LN1, LN2, LN3, TV, etc.

  4. The front panel input is labeled IN2. You can select in via the "Input Select" button in the upper left of your remote.
