Hello All, I recently downloaded a 800mb video file, only to find after many hours of transfer, the movie was not the one it should be.
Is there a way/program to open a partial file and check it???. I know with MP3 downloads you can play the partial file.
    Thanks in advance, Wayne

VLC can usually read a partial file, so long as enough contiguous chuncks exist for it to get a fix on. Probably your best bet. It does seem to vary from download to download as to how much is needed before it can play it.

    AVIPreview is quite good IMHO.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I'd get a more dependable source for my downloads...
