    Hi.

I'm trying to convert directly ass to idx+sub so that i won't loose the format of the subs, but so far i didn't saw anyway to do it.

I'm trying to do this, because my dvd player can't read the ass subs.

Does anyone know how to do it?

    Thx in advance.

Convert to .srt - Should be easier, and is supported by most players.

...and don't wake up old threads - it's really easy to start a new.

I know how to convert to .srt, but i loose the sub format having the .srt subs all messed up. That's why I want to convert to idx+sub, because it's the only type of sub that my dvd player can maintain the format.

  7. Why not just get a dvd player that plays divx subs?
