  1. I have a movie in 1080i with a file extension .ts. Firstly, what file type is that? its not a file extension I'm familiar with. My 2nd question is how can I convert this file to the highest quality file type that will play on xbox 360 ( streamed through media center )? I'm guessing the format is wmv-hd, Is there a guide I can follow?

    Thanks in advance

  3. Thanks for the reply. Would this give a HD output? I'm guessing not as I don't think mpeg2 is HD. I want to end up with wmv-hd. Is there a way?

Baldrick, or anyone, I'd like to ask a question here - somewhat related to this topic.

What tool(s) could be used to down-convert resolution from a HD-DIVX to DVD resolution(s)?

I've been trying to search for a solution for this for some time, but not having any luck.

    Thank you.

kevlar: tsconverter might also be useful.

painkiller: no, it has nothing to do with ts to wmvhd streaming video. make a new topic instead...hddivx to dvd should be same as divx to dvd.
