i posted a while back about this but i don't think i was very clear in my explanation. i am captureing without any compression. i know, very LARGE files. anyway, when i play it it back it is PERFECT. just the way i like it. when i try to encode it useing TMPGE the colors of shades and shadows are wierd. i mean like instead of normal colors they are like green, yellow, red, just different shades of them. the only way i can compare it is i capture in a YUY2 format. when i change it to lets say RGB555 or RGB24 or another format i get those strange colors in the preview of what i'm capturing. now thats no problem cause like i said i capture in YUY2 and it is PERFECT. i just want to know if anyone out their knows what i meen by these wierd colors and how to encode the uncompressed file with TMPGE.... Thanks........
