my trial of dvd lab studio won't compile my dvd I made, why?

is there a difference between the trial of dvd lab and the trial of dvd lab studio?

I had the dvd lab and could make menus and complete a disc, but I got the trial of dvd lab studio and after I compile it, I try to burn it and when I try to play my dvd it has black and white lines and it closes the player on my computer.

I do everything the exact same as I did with dvd lab. I use mpeg2.

are you suppose to be able to make menus with the trial or does it limit, is that why it won't work, I want to get this dvdlab studio but I want to make sure it will work like the other one did.

You didn't make a PAL disc by mistake, did you ?

Post a compilation report here for us to look at.

one more thing,

I had to click the "reset to default settings' because my preview box moved to the bottom instead of the right corner, but after I clicked it and then exited, I opened it back up but it didn't change the layout like on the dvd lab standard.

after i compile my movie, i go to copy it but when I click on the folder instead of it showing me the menu and movie thumbnails it shows me a number 1 with circles around it in both boxes.

what am i doing wrong?

no i did the NTSC.

the dvd lab standard worked fine, but the dvd lab studio just won't work. I do everything the same like i did before.

Did you post in their forums ? The author hangs out there, along with a lot of very knowledgeable users.

If that is too hard, post a copy of the compilation report and a screen shot of the connections window here. You aren't exactly going out of your way to help us help you.

But seriously, you might consider posting some more information, such as the report guns1inger requested 6 posts back now. Or alternatively post the issue in mediachance's forums, try emailing their support address, etc etc. They have a far greater chance of knowing what is going wrong.
