I have a problem. I want to insert subtitles from a srt-file that I made myself. How can I combine this subtitles with a video_ts folder and make it ready to burn with toast as a DVD?

Can I do this with ffmpegX? And how please?

  2. You may try the "DVD mpeg2enc" preset with "Decode with mplayer" enabled and load the srt file in the Filters tab. Or (better sync if (encoding NTSC) convert first to "DivX mencoder" with subtitles then back to "DVD ffmpeg".

Thanks for helping me out, but:

I must do something wrong because every time I click 'encode' ... the process is immediately done (and I hear a ping) ... I know this is wrong but I have no idea what I do wrong.

On the left side (source) I select my video_TS folder ... and he recognize it because I see information about the pixels and so one ...

    Can you help me?

    Hi,

I just found out that ffmpegX doesn't want to play my video-ts folder when I open it.
But VLC does play the movie when I open it.

Maybe this has something to do with it?

  5. Try to convert it to "DivX mencoder", does it work in that case?

I have tried that but it's the same story, ... the process starts up and is ready in 1 second
