    I am trying to backup my owned movie of shopgirl. I am using DVD shrink version 3.2
    It starts to go for about 2 mins the stops and I get this error: DVD Shrink encountered an error and can not continue. Failed to read file "F:\" Data error (cyclic redundancy check).


    Can someone please help out on this?

    clean the disc and try again or use latest dvdfabdecrypter to rip

    I got the same msg once it was due to a bad source.
    try DVDFab and see if that helps

    Do a forum or google search for " Cyclic redundancy check". Usually means a dirty or damaged disc. Can also mean that your DVD Reader is on the way out or dirty as well.
    If in doubt, Google it.
