ATI TV wonder Elite vrs MSI 550 Pro -E

I am interested to know which one is a better TV tuner card as the video chip in both the tuner cards are common. I am interested to have a tuner card which can give the best tv resolution on the monitor as well good recordings to make DVDs later. MSI 550 Pro-E is cheaper by $40 but is it worth it ?

they both use the same chipset. the only difference is ATI offers a 3 year warrenty. Also to note, the msi 550 pro-e is a pci-express card, so make sure you have the right slot before you get this one

I am using Intel D915 GAV mainboard which has two PCI express slots. I can always use MSI "Theater 550 Pro-E tuner card on my system. Is the performance of this board the same like that of ATI TV wonder Elite?

yes, they are the exact same chipsets. so if the warrenty is no big deal go with the cheapest
