I'm currently transferring some of my videos from AVI to VCD. I usually use TMPGenc, although I sometimes use MainConcept or other VCD authoring programs. I tend to turn up the settings to Highest Quality, and on my old ancient PC with an Athlon 2.0 GHz and a Geforce 4 card with 1GB of ram, it would typically take 15-25 minutes to convert the file. I have recently purchased a new computer, with an Athlon 64 3500+ processor, nvidia 6100 chipset and 2GB of ram. When I am converting the files, it is still taking 15-25 minutes per conversion...
Is there a VCD converter out there that works better with a 64 bit processor?
