    Does anyone know of any plans to produce a dvd with avi divx playback ?

    Not yet,
    I doubt any big company ever will since most of them HATE the divx format because It is so widely used to copy DVDs. The most likely thing that I can think of it that some small company, of non US origin will make one eventually. Or the more likely event that I could see is after people have a good chance to really look at XBOX technology that they will make some sort of windows CE based divx player that could possibly be installed on the Box, because it is way more than powerful enough to handle divx.
