I've been trying to get virtualdub to run but I can't get get my video loaded. I keep getting my this error message.
Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'dvsd' (unknown)
Virtualdud requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress
video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used b Windows Media Player, are not
suitable. Only 'Direct stream copy' is available for this video.
What to do. The vide I'm trying to load is a raw AVI file that I captured using WinDV.

Thanks. Now if only I ca figure out what I'm supposed to do with Virtualdub to figure out my sync problem
-
Yes. I captured a video at 48Khz sample rate and 16 bit. The audio that is apart of that video is fine. I also captured a second audio stream independent of the camera using cubase. It was also at 48 and 16bit. but when I try to line up the two audio tracks they won't stay in sync more than about 30 seconds then they just jump out of sync.
I've captured in this way before but I always used 32Khz as the sample rate and 12 bit
