Hi Ladz,
Personally I'm a flask + Panasonic man but thought I'd open my horizons and try DVD2AVI along with TMpge 2.02.
I gotta say I'm impressed with the quality although fast action scenes are still quite blocky.
HOWEVER -
For some reason the film freezes for for a split second (the audio does'nt) every now and then - to be honest I hav'nt watched the whole film i converted just the begining and end which is where i noticed the brief pauses. (I can rule out the writer/software/dvd player route as I've never had any problems whatsoever in this department + it does it when playing back on the pc)
The audio has,nt been down converted just ripped straight out at 48 and saved.
The pauses are slight but still noticable...Anyone else getting this problem ? I did do a forum search but came up with nothing....
I'm thinking it may be to do with DVD2AVI.
Any replies appreciated.
Cheers
G
