    I don't know if you guys can help with this or not, but I don't know where else to look.

    Up until about 2 weeks ago my streaming video and regular video play was working just fine. Then out of the blue everything I play on my computer now stutters ever 3-10 seconds.

    I ran defrag and deleted a ton of stuff off the harddrive, I ran adaware and McAfee antivirus but to no avail.

    Any help or a link to help would be appreciated. I looked through the faq and did a search but I couldn't find any related info.

    What player are you using?

    Does it happen with VLC, MPC?

    Check the transfer mode on the IDE controler for DMA, not PIO.
