I have some AVIs in divx format that I am trying to burn to DVD. I am using Rosio EMC8, which has the ability. When I attempt to play the burned DVD on my DVD player, I receive the error:
Playback Prohibited due to area limitations
Anybody have any ideas on why this is coming up, and possibly how to get rid of it? I can watch the AVIs fine on the PC, but I haven't tried seeing if the burned DVDs would play. Thanks!

You could try ConvertXtoDVD. It handles the conversions fairly well for a all-in-one-converter. There is a freeware version available in the link page. If it is a PAL>NTSC conversion, there are better methods for best quality. Look here:
