    Hi:

Recently burned several dvd's which only plays on standalone dvd players and not on any computer dvd drives. Any idea what the problem could be? Dvd was created using DVD Studio Pro; are less that six minutes long; bitrate between 5-6; generic media whach has given no past problems - so I am stumped and would appreciate any feedback

    Baldrick:

Thanks for your response. I am using windows media player and depending on the system being used files sometimes show up in explorer. The usual error message I receive is "a codec is required to play this file".

    Baldrick:

Sorry for the delayed response. I have accessed the information you recommended but it's still of no use.

The explorer lists the a/v TS folders. However, these will not play in WM player just the Nero player which was previously installed on my machine.

Our clients all use windows so there is an urgent need for these files to playback on their equipment.
