I have been using Premiere to edit my videos for DVD. The sample rate has been set at 32KHz because I never quite figured out how to set the rate to 48KHz and have it stay there. Now I have a new audio capture devive that captures at a minimum of 48KHz. Before whenever my sample rates were different I would have audio problems.

!. How can I set my sample rate in Premiere to 48Khz and have it stay there.

    2. This device is 24 bit. Does iot matter since Premiere is only 16 bit.

The device is a PreSonus Firebox and I'm using it to capture audio out of a Mackie mixer

What does this post have to do with Web graphics??

    Anyways, here we go:
When you start a project, an you want to output to DVD you should always pick NTSC DV/48Khz audio..
Regardless of your original samplerate footage, Premiere should upsample to 48Khz..It will try to conform to your current project setting..

The sample rate has been set at 32KHz because I never quite figured out how to set the rate to 48KHz
Is this from a DV camera, capture device, or tuner card??
Are you setting your project for 32Khz?

    I'm confused...

Before whenever my sample rates were different I would have audio problems.
I don't see why you should..Audio gets rendered out to project settings..Plus, it gets conformed immediately after capture..
