Remote Control Problem with my New Toshiba D-R4....

Just got my Toshiba D-R4 this past weekend and it seems like the remote that came with it does not work. Try using brand new batteries and its still isnt working I then went ahead and program my Harmony 880 and it seems to work... I was messing around with the setting on the dvd recorder and now the IR code is set to DR 3 instead of DR 1. Now my Harmony 880 is also not working with the recorder. All I get now is a display of DR 3 when I try using my Harmony 880. My question is there any way I could change the IR code back to DR 1??? I have looked in the manual and I cant seem to locate a way to change the IR code back to DR 1.... This recorder is pretty useless without a working remote... I'm sooo pissed at myself right now!!!! Anyone???

Look on pages 44 and 45 of the installation guide, not the owner's manuel. It will tell you how to change the recorder and the remote from DR 1 to DR 2 or DR 3. To change the remote you hold the * button plus 1,2 or 3 to change the remote.
