Hi all,
I am trying to tape A 8MM camcorder onto a vhs tape via my t.v. I plug the cancorder in as usual via the red and white leads. But for some reson i cannot find the correct channel on my vcr to tape it from the cancorder.
Any suggestions?
Cheers Josel

usually called "AUX" or "Line In"
Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

As suggested switch the VCR INPUT mode (remote or VCR itself) to LIINE-IN. This activates RCA jacks. Otherwise VCR expects the signal to come via the antenna/cable terminal.
Just to expand edDV's advise. -

The above will record it but you cannot monitor it unless you output to TV. Make sure you set your VCR to record "Line in". Then connect your TV so you can monitor your recording (you probably already have this connection done):
VCR (audio/video out) ---> TV (audio/vide in)
or:
VCR (RF out) ---> TV (RF in)
