    DVD+R DL
DVD+R DL or called DVD+R9 is a Dual Layer writeable DVD+R. The dual layered discs can hold 7.95 computer GB* (called DVD-9)
Just like a single layer 4.7GB disc can only hold 4.37GB, it's a case of how the number is interpeted.

What version of nero ... if earlier than version 6.6.0.14 you need to update for added support of layer jump recording for DVD-R DL .

    Layer jump is required ...

According to what I see, you need 7.95GB maximum.

    Open Nero>Help>About Nero.

EDIT: My version of Nero, 6.6.0.13 reports a Verbatim DL as having 8.148GB in 'Nero' size. Apparently if the size is under that, it will work.
