    Hi i've nec3540A dvd-writer but i can't erase dvd with it. I've tried Nero but after erasing and writing new things on dvd, dvd-writer couldn't read anything so it becomes garbage. What can i do?

    Is this a fast erase or a full one ?

    You could also try something like DVD Info Pro, which has an erase function. Might work better, might not...

    Sonic Record Now Deluxe. I use it to erase my +RWs to use in my DVD recorder. Works perfectly every time....

    DVDDecrypter also has an erase function.
    If you cancelled(or your PC froze) during an erase or burn then the disc is ruined.
