    Hi everyone:

Before converting to vob, I used VirtualDub to fix the audio volume of 2 AVI files due the noticeable difference in volume levels of the 2 files.

For video, I chose "direct stream copy". For audio, I chose "AVI audio". From one AVI file, the audio result is "pcm_S16le, 32000Hz, stereo, 1024 kb/s", from the other, the audio result is "mp3, 22500Hz, stereo, 55 kb/s".

Would this be a trouble when I use DivXToDVD to convert them to .vob files?

    Thanks

No, because DivxtoDVD will treat them as seperate titles. It's only a problem if you want to join them first, then convert.

    Thanks.

I was worried because DivX Player would not play the "pcm".

PCM is just a fancy name for "WAV"

  5. that's close, but not exactly 100% true actually....yes the audio is identical, but they have differant headers in the files themselves........this is a small differance, given, but i just thought i'd point it out, because the terms get thrown around interchangeably but arent QUITE interchangeable....
