    Bought an ATI Wonder Elite using the Theater 500 chip.
    Does anyone have any sort of documentation or explanation of the ATI device settings within virtualdub capture?

    Speaking specifically in virtualdub, things like this:
    (please see attached jpeg screenshot)



    The 3D comb filter, noise reduction filter, filter/method/threshold, etc.

    I am guessing the filters are built-in inside the chip, but anyway, you could get some technical information of what each filter can do here:

    AFAIK looks like you've just got the device driver window up -- might just have to experiment as I've hardly ever seen anything written about what settings to use with any capture filtering. Guess it's kind of subjective.
