  1. I recently got the Hauppage Wintv-pvr-500mce dual ntsc tuner card and installed it in a Windows MCE system. It installed like a dream and the dual tuner inputs (via coax) work fine in MCE. I was impressed.

I have since moved on to trying to get the other A/V inputs (it has two composite and one s-video input).

I cannot seem to get Windows MCE configured to allow me to switch between the tuner inputs (via coax) and any of the A/V inputs. If I allow it to autodetect it wants to view my A/V input as a single "cable box" input... if I disconnect the A/V input it will detect the dual tuner coax/cable input.

First, am I misunderstaning the capabilites of this card? Should I be able to switch between input types at will? I mean a/v1 a/v2 coax1 and coax2?

If that's possible with the card... should I be able to configure MCE to recognize this?

Does anyone else use this card perhaps with Meedio, BeyondTV or other software which allows this kind of thing? Is the problem MCE?

So far I've been impressed with the card and esp. with the ease of install.. I expected way more trouble esp. with MCE

Lastly, the card has an FM tuner... which I am finding not very great... anyone have any tips on getting that tuner to work well (get strong signals)? Also MCE complains that I can either record video or tune FM but not both...? Can someone explain why the tv tuner and fm tuner are bound together this way? Seems odd to me. Is it MCE again?

Thanks for any info or guidance.

TV tuner and FM tuner are not bound together
    Top of card
    FM Tuner input
    TV Tuner input
    S/Video input
    Lelf Audio input
    Rigth Audio input
    Buttom of card

MCE will not allow to mix input it must be the same input all Tuner or S/Video or Composite which why MCE is a joke.
I don't know if Meedio support the FM tuner but BeyondTV and GB-PVR dose and there SageTV but it dosen't support FM rigth now.
