  1. I captured 4 hrs DV video to computer.
Now I want convert them to DVD format.
I read from DVD-Guides.com that Nero Vision can convert 2 hrs video to DVD.
But so far I can only put 1 hr video on DVD, otherwise it would be oversized.

Does anyone know about DV-DVD authoring?

Here would be a good place to start reading https://www.videohelp.com/convert#4;10

I would also ditch any plans to use Nero to get a decent amount of quality video on a disc. Use a bitrate calculator and a good encoder. At four hours I would consider half-D1. In fact, I would split it to 2 disks at 2 hours each.

Before we let you do this, you must agree that you indend do destroy the quality provided by your trusty MiniDV camcorder.

I'd hate to see you destroy the only copy of the wedding or baby pics, but it could be you are divorcing and only want a low resolution memory.
