    Hi everyone

I authored a DVD which plays fine in both stand-alone DVD players and PC DVD-ROMs. The .mpg files that I used to author the DVD are created from my still pictures (JPEG) and my compressed audio (MP3 - 320kbps).

However, when I tried to play the DVD in a car DVD-Audio player, it failed. The DVD-Audio player did not recognize my authored DVD and rejected it.

Would someone please tell me what may cause this failure?

    Many thanks.

    Thanks, canadateck

I authored my DVD as a normal DVD with .bup, .ifo, .vob files for each title (song). There are 18 titles which are all stored in one folder, namely Video_ts. In addition to these 54 files (18 .bup, 18 .ifo & 18 .vob), there are a video_ts.bup and a video_ts.ifo files. The disc also has a folder named Audio_ts which is empty like all other commercial DVDs.

I think you are right. Perhaps, my car DVD-Audio player does not accept DVD+/-R.

    Regards

IŽll guess it wonŽt accept DVD-Video! DVD-Audio is another standard and still canŽt be authored by DVDLab(pro)

If it was DVD audio (aka DAD), the files would be in the Audio_TS folder and the player would be looking there.
