    Hi i have a win 500 pvr twin tuner card and i wanted to know will it b possible to stream the tv card wireless on to my laptop? If so how can this be done? I have tried using windows encoder, but no luck. Has anyone out there got this to work? If so can someone be kind enough to help me out

    try vlc or Unreal Media Server or Star Media Center. or is the 500pvr a mpeg2 only capture card? i don't if they will work with such.

    or maybe you can stream the captured mpeg2 directly using vlc or unreal media server.

    the 500 is a hardware mpe2 encoder card; but I think there is a way to bypass the writing to disk (gbpvr does this)...and then maybe stream through vlc or the like.

    Sure you can do that SageTV or BeyondTV and think also CTpvr all have Client software
