    yamb can join/cut mp4.
or convert each mp4 to clip to dvd mpg and join when you author with for example tmpgenc dvd author.
convert the mp4 to dvd mpg with for example The FilmMachine, winavi or use the avisynth method, https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=284288&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=
, and open the mp4 avs in any encoder/converter.
