Hello Jesse
You could try TDA with no menu. Add each VOB to the same track. If everything works OK it should create the standard 1,048,574 KB VOB and IFO files. Burn with TDA or Nero.
Just a thought,
Chas

You are missing some files .... copy (not move) all the .bup files to a new folder .. rename them to .ifo (dont change anything other than the extension ... ie VIDEO_TS.BUP will be changed to VIDEO_TS.IFO) now move these files back to the original folder (you should now have .IFO and .BUP files in that folder along with the .VOBS) ... burn with nero ... you should now have a working dvd

create a new folder (say on ur desktop) right click on VIDEO_TS.BUP now hold down the CTRL key and right click on VTS_01_0.BUP (both files should now be highlighted blue) using right mouse button drag these files to the new folder you just created and release mouse button ... select copy here from dialogue that pops up .... now open the new folder and change the .BUP to .IFO on both files ... now drag them back to original folder (with right mouse button) and select move here .... now burn it

Use ifoedit to open the VTS_01_0.IFO and look in the bottom pane ... it will show attributes of video ... you will see some text like this
MPEG-2 720x576 (PAL) (PAL 625/50) (4:3)
it will be different for ntsc ..(it will show (NTSC) instead of (PAL) the video will be a different size too ie not 720x576

yes the files are the same ... just the extension is different ... .BUP and .IFO ... it is a requirement of the dvd structure that there is a .IFO and a .BUP for each title set .. the .BUP is actually a backup of the .IFO (so they are identical) but you must have both in order to make a working dvd

These are my files:
VIDEO_TS ---this is ifo file
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VTS_01_0 ---this is ifo file
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_1
VTS_01_2
VTS_01_3
VTS_01_4
also if my file is in pal, i cant play in my dvd player as well? how u change from pal to ntsc setting?
those were my orginal files and those two are IFo's, so i dont think im missing the ifo's....
I think my file is in pal, which makes it unplayable on stanalones? any quick way to fix this?
-
ok ... u should have said they were .IFO's ... and saved me half a day trying to explain how to rename the .BUP's ..... so you dou actually have all the needed files ... u should just be able to burn these by using the dvd video option in nero and dropping these files into the VIDEO_TS folder in neros explorer window (it will be in the left hand pane) ... you can use ifoedit to check if its pal or ntsc .... if its pal then you will need to re-encode ... this is a very complex operation ... so first check if it is needed by using ifoedit to find out if ur video is pal or ntsc

okay i got the idoedit how do i check now?
