Hey guys I have checked the guides for .vob to DVD and they are for video_ts folders, but I used my Hitachi DVDCam using mini dvd-r's, and one of them got a bit scratched but I was able to copy over 2 .vob files onto my computer, and I'd like to burn those as a DVD. How could I do this ?? It's just two .vob files, nothing else. I played both in VLC and they work great, just want to DVD them now.

    TIA!

If you wish to create a dvd with them then you need to take the VOB's and re-author them, using for example TDA (free trail available).

I have installed the Trial version but it does not read .vob files. I have tried to Start New Project > Add File, and .vob files are not supported. Also tried the Source Wizard and all options, but none allow .vob files.

    Any other means ??

I'm not sure about the latest version, but my older one will accept vob's. After you select "add file" be sure to select "all files" from the drop down menu after the dialog box opens, this should show the vob's and allow you to select them.

TDA doesn't import VOBs in file source mode; in DVD source mode it reads IFO's, then imports DVD by title (track). In case only VOBs exist, they should be either demuxed or turned into MPEGs first.
You can demux a title or a single VOB in DGIndex (file/save project and demux video). VideoReDo and MPEG Video Wizard can import VOBs and save as MPEGs. Sometimes (if there's a single audio track, no DTS) simply changing file extension works.
