After I have finished editing my avi movie file in premiere pro, what is the easiest way convert it to mpeg2 for use in dvd lab pro.
I know I can use mpeg2 encoder with adobe premiere but it takes forever....?

    thanks in advanced

If you want to encode to mpeg2, I advise you on using TMPGEnc for that, because it delivers a good encodes & other nice features.
    take a look at https://www.videohelp.com/convert.

I have download TMPGENC, but when I browse and try to open my adobe premiere project in my folder, it says "cannot open or unsupported.
And when I select file type "avi" my file disappears".
Do I have to export it first?
I must be doing something really dumb.

    Thanks in advance........[/url]

export to dv-avi in premiere or frameserve directly to tmpgenc using the Debugmode FrameServer or get a mpeg2 plugin for premiere and export directly to mpeg2.
