  1. Hey Guys,

Quick question, hopefully a simple answer.

I have a few divx files that have been encoded with OpenDivx v4. I always use TMPGenc with great results. I can play the files fine on the computer, but when I go to encode them to MPG2, TMPEGenc won't accept them.
My experience has been that if TMPGEnc doesn't even load the programs, its a lack-of-codec problem.

(I notice when I play the file, FF-DShow Decoder comes up in the system tray - is there someway I can tell TMPGEnc to use FF-DShow to encode the movie? The setting for Direct Show Multimedia File Reader is at priority 2 in the VFAPI Plugins part of TMPGEnc)

Any suggestions with this one, would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

TMPGEnc doesn't work too well with ffdshow. You could try locking the output colourspace to RGB24. Could also enable VfW decoding for DIVX.
