  1. Hi Guys,
I just Tried Burning my VCD with the Ulead Movie DVD factory software...though its EASY to use and Has a Very GOOD USER FRIENDLY -- Easiest Menu Creating Tool...But it didnt help me ....
.....When I try to select my DAT file of My VCD...It shows a ERROR " Path*.dat is not a Compliant MPEG file...please Select a DVD/VCD/SVCD compliant MPEG file"....by my repeated Efforts I have failed to Understand that "What does a DVD/VCD/Svcd Compliant File Means".......
.....All the Movies on a VCD are in the Dat format...which is of the VCD Format ...so Why Ulead DVD has these Errors......
.......Surprisingly..if I convert a .DAT to .MPEG it accepts that Format....why SOOO....
....also please Tell me whether after BURNING VCD's with ULEAD DVD Movie Factory...Ill be able to :::
--play movies on a Normal VCD players..
--also CAN ulead Burn Movies Upto 80 mins

    finally
-- can I save My Project made by ULEAD(that is containing MENUS etc etc ) in a .DAT file format so that I can Burn it as a VCD....

...all Ideas and Suggestions Are Most Welcome....

With best Regards to all of YOU...

& Merry Christmas with a Prosperous New Year 2002,

    Nityanand...

  6. Here is my Ulead DVD Movie Factory Error,

    it says File Format mismatch,

    the specs
    a 3gb 720x480( ntsc) by 4000 (cbr)bitrate, 48khz audio 192bit mpeg2 with mpeg1 audio layer...

and it will not accept it, a qucik check of the help section
shows that it it says accepted media for dvd authoring ( not sure if the mpeg1 vs mpeg2 layer for audio will make a difference though..

    any thoughts?

So far I am new to this so I am still palying with bitrate setting to get maximun filesize and audio quality and yet still hit my 4.7 max target for my discs blanks.
