Making a CD with tracks

I have an AVI file 45 minutes long in Premiere. I want to get it to CD with tracks to be able to listen to it in my car. I tried exporting it to Audicity then to Nero to burn but it was speeded up when I listened to it in Nero before I burned it. The i tried straight to Nero and it was speeded up also. How can I get this file to CD with tracks?

Try open the avi in goldwave and save as a wav. Burn the wav.

Make sure the audio is 44100hz 16bit....if it is not it needs to be.

Once you've exported from AVI to 16/44 WAV, all you'll need is CDWave and a burner/software.

Actually I exported the file from Premiere as a wav file, but I'm now at a loss on how to get it into CDwave

1. Download the CDWave application

2. Install the CDWave application

3. Run the CDWave application

4. Load(Open) the WAVE file from within the CDWave application

That's all there is to it.
If CDWave isn't seeing the file (after browsing for it), maybe you didn't export from Premiere correctly. I just did a trial one before posting to make sure all these steps are correct. No Problem...

You need to address one problem at a time.
1) Slowing down and/or correcting the .wav file so that it is 44.1 16bit.
2) Once that is completed....find software like CDWave that can split/divide the audio into individual songs.
CDWave can do both by the way....divide and export as the correct 44.1 16bit.

Use Feurio! track editor - it's free to try. This program does just about anything from splitting tracks, to volume adjustment, to index markers...

Though it probably has to be in 44.1kHz/16-bit .WAV form first.

I changed the input setting in Premiere from 32 to 44 for audio and I also change the output audio to 44. The problem is I have a really sharp hissy output to the sound. The original did not sound like that. I'm at a loss. I go from AVI to WAV with Premiere then into Soond Forge 4.5 or into CD wave and they all sound the same. Really high pitched and hissy. I tried a song that I downloaded from the net and it worked fine. The recording I'm using is made at my church and the sound is captured with the microphone on the camera. What am I doing wrong

Does Premiere do a samplerate conversion? Sounds like a bad SCR or none at all. Use your audio editor (Goldwave) as SCR to 44.1 k.

Audacity can put label markers through your wav file & export separate tracks; then just load into your burning software (just like CDWave). It will upsample too. Any hiss you can possibly cut out with the built-in NR or FFT filters. You can also speed up or slow down.
