    hi
    can i just convert divx files of a movie straight to dvd with just scvc2dvd?
    because when i try it comes up with no mpegs or anything else to process!
    sorry but im a bit new to this converting lark!!

    Yes, you can use SVCD2DVD to process either SVCD or .avi format movies to DVD. Have you read thru the Howto guides?

    Are you using v2 or v1.5?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    Are you able to play the .avi file on your PC video player? Does S2D go thru the whole conversion process and say "DVD folders created", or does it stop/crash? Do you have at least 9-10 GBs free on the drive you do the project on? ChrissyBoy would probably want to see the logfile that S2D created for this project.

    Also, can you show a screenshot of SVCD2DVD & the error message?
