    I'm having problems playing certain commercial DVDs. I have been told that the solution is to upgrade the DVD player's firmware.

    Can anyone tell me how to find firmware for the Toshiba DVD carousel player SD-4109x? There is nothing on Toshiba's website.

    Try a Google search for 'firmware upgrade for toshiba SD-4109' and you should get some hits. I had a 3109 and it wouldn't play anything but commercial DVD disks. No burned DVDs or SVCDs.

    I did the Google search, but found no useful sites. I'm still looking for the firmware.
