    Hi
All I want to know is:- my current firmware 1.0 .What I want to know is do I have to put version 1.1 then 1.2 and finally the latest which is 1.3 or can I just put 1.3 over top of 1.0? The only reason im asking because back in early days of dvd burners some needed the earlier versions to make the newer versions work ?

    THANKS

Just install the latest version. You can also update the unit over your LAN if you can connect it.

Thanks for the advice.Tryed to update using the lan connection. But there are to many updates (39) so it never gets to the end of the list. Usally stops about update 6 saying cannot find server. Then when I press ok it drops all the updates that ive already downloaded.(got f**ked off after the 20th time). Finally found this website

    http://tesc.toshiba.co.uk/Web/ModelLis.nsf/DynamicStatic/HD%20DVD%20Firmware?OpenDocument

    with the latest firmware.
By the way how do you know its alright to do this operation ?

    THANKS
