Has anyone out there had problems getting Adobe Encore to work properly?
I have had "Out of Memory" error messages every time I try to use this program. My pc specs are listed in my profile, but briefly I have approx. 50gig free harddrive space and running 512ram. I am trying to author a mulitple chapter DVD of Michael Palin's Sahara series(recorded off digital Tv) with motion menus. I already have TMPGEnc and DVD Architect, but would like to learn Encore. Any ideas??

Use Encore 1.5, its more stable.

Encore 1.0 was more of a Beta than a stable release. Unfortunately. If you just bought it I would see if you could get it exchanged for 1.5. I had nothing but headaches with 1.0
Besides that. Where exactly in the process in creating you disc do you get the out of Memory problem. There was a dozen work around for all kinds of problems.Use your head, Side Step the Traps, Snake through the chaos with a SmoothNoodleMaps -
1.0 has a dreadful error that comes up, exhorting you to re-save the project "once" as an "error has occurred".
This doesn't work. Several moments after the new "save", the project may disappear, and the "saved" version never works!

Thanks dcsos, I think I will ditch Encore! Seems like too much trouble to bother
